Everett Store - Every Friday in May from 11:00am -
1:00pm
Ever wondered how to use a new tool you've seen advertised or in
our stores? We have so many cool tools to make your quilting faster,
smarter and easier and the girls are ready to show you how! Drop by
the
Everett store each Friday in May between 11:00am and 1:00pm for
a fun demonstration time. You'll leave with lots of hints and tips
for tools to better your quilting lifestyle!

Join us at the Christmas in July "Cafe" for
inspiration, relaxation and a LOT of fun! We'll start with
"Appetizers" - relax with treats and a stroll through our Holiday
Trunk Show. Next have a seat for the "Main Course" - demonstrations
of new products and inspiring how-tos. Then finish your cafe visit
with "Dessert" - shopping time, cookies and cool Make 'n Takes. It's
a menu you can't resist!

Mariners Stitch 'n Pitch Night
Thursday, August 7th - 7:05 pm at Safeco Field
Sponsored for the fourth year by Pacific Fabrics & Crafts!
Get out the needles and yarn and head to the ball
field! It's the original Seattle Mariners Stitch 'n Pitch Night born
right here in Seattle and still the biggest and best event in the
country. You can be part of the fun by purchasing a special
knitter's section ticket that includes a Stitch 'n Pitch logo
T-Shirt for 2008. Tickets purchased at our
stores this year will be a "package deal" that includes a
Pacific Fabrics and Crafts tote bag with the official T-Shirt and
really cool goodies from your favorite yarn and accessories
suppliers. We'll let you know as soon as our tickets are ready, so
make your plans now!

Our May - August Class Schedule is available online and in
our stores!
Call your friends, make your plans and get ready to learn new skills
with our fun and inspiring classes. We have lots of exciting new
classes full of creative ideas scheduled for you including
Camps & Classes for Kids and Teens. Hurry!

2008 Block of the Month Club
Clubs started this month - just 500 spots this year
and we're almost full!
Due to fabric availability, we had just 500 spots to fill. If
you have not signed up and paid yet, please check with the

Your Hands
Here's a chance to show off your
quilts! April & May at all our stores
Our in-store Quilt Shows are just the best, since they feature
our favorite quilters - you! If you've never entered a quilt show
before, our stores are friendly places to start. Our customers will
be the "experts" and do the voting, so bring in your quilts and
enjoy the praise. We can hardly wait to see your quilts! Check with
your nearest
store for entry guidelines and show details:
Bellevue
Quilts will be accepted from April 14th - 26th and displayed from
April 28th - May 17th.
Bremerton
Quilts will be accepted from March 23rd - 30th and displayed from
April 1st - 28th.
Everett
Quilts will be accepted from April 1st - 30th and displayed from May
1st - 31st.
Northgate
Quilts will be accepted from March 17th - April 15th and displayed
from April 17th - May 15th.
Outlet
Quilts will be accepted from March 23rd - 30th and displayed from
April 1st -28th.
Puyallup
Quilts will be accepted from March 23rd - 30th and displayed from
April 1st -30th.
April 27th Blanket Bee Results
Wow! The spirit of giving and making a difference in
the lives of others is alive and well in our
stores! We are so
grateful to all of you who attended the Blanket Bees at six of our
stores and next door to our Northgate store at Quality Sewing &
Vaccum. (A
big thank you to
Quality Sewing for offering to host the Bee,
and provide all the thread and machines, during
the Northgate remodel. We are so impressed with your generosity!)

Extension Service Clothing & Textile Advisors
Stop into some of our stores on a Saturday and in addition to our
skilled staff members, you may find an expert WSU Extension Service
Clothing & Textile Advisor volunteer ready to help! These well
trained, eager to help sewing enthusiasts are available on various
Saturdays at our Bremerton,
Everett
or Puyallup
stores. It's a great day to bring your questions or projects, enjoy
a little free advice, shop and go home with new confidence and
inspiration! Check with the store for exact dates.
Learn
to Sew, Knit or Craft at a Pacific Fabrics & Crafts Class!
Our Class Schedule is available for online sign ups, so
don't miss out! Whether you want to enhance your existing skills or
acquire new ones, we have the class for you. Be sure to check our schedule for classes to keep the kids busy, too!

Keep
your calendars open for our Fabric Drives and Blanket Bees! Fabric
Drives are held in the Spring and the Fall and they are followed
closely by a Blanket Bee at all our stores. Watch the web site for
exact dates.
You'll love the Blanket Bees! We use the fabric donated during the
drives, batting generously donated by The
Warm Company and your willing hands. A fun time to meet new
friends and benefit those in need!
Our relationship with
Project Linus doesn’t
begin and end with our Fabric Drives and Blanket Bees! Did you know
that we are a permanent drop-off point for fabric donations and
finished quilts? We are happy to accept your no-longer-needed, good
quality, cotton, flannel and fleece fabrics! Project Linus volunteers will make them
into snuggly quilts for traumatized and ill children. Drop in and
make a difference today!
