Looking for a fun and creative experience for the young makers in your life? We are so excited to partner with Made Sewing Studio to offer several week long workshops this summer where kids can learn the ins and out of sewing while making a variety of projects or even trying out the role of fashion designer. Never sewn before? No problem as no experience is necessary and everyone will leave class knowing how to confidently use a sewing machine.
Classes will run Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. (Please note class does take place outside of regular store hours.)

Made Sewing is a local company that has offered quality sewing classes with a focus on teaching elementary school aged children since 2010. All classes have been carefully designed with children in mind to ensure a fun, creative and safe experience.
Kids 200: Summer Sewing
Let’s jump into the exciting world of sewing! In this workshop we use both our hands and our handy machines to make oodles of fun projects that may include emojis, pajamas, aprons, messenger bags, zipper totes, infinity scarves, monsters and much, much, more. On the first day of class, we survey our young sewists to come up with projects that are both fun and challenging for their experience level and interest.
AGE LEVEL: Ages 8 and above
Kids 250: Fashion Design
It’s time to release your inner fashionista! In this workshop we dive into the world of fashion from inception to completion. Kids will spend their first day learning how a Fashion Designer designs their creations. We start with how designers work: creating mood boards, designing and editing until they decide which final design they will make. We then have the store to ourselves so they can pick out their fabrics within the budget that we help them create. After that, the fashion game is afoot and each child will make their own unique design that fits their personal style and fabulous self.
