A button front dress or blouse is a timeless and comfortable garment. We have a version for every time of the year ranging from sleeveless to long sleeves, fitted to relaxed bodices and waistlines. All the styles feature a scoop or gentle v shaped neckline. Choose from a variety of lengths from blouse to maxi dress – don’t worry the buttons stop at the knee on the maxis!
If you’ve been hesitant about buttonholes, now is the time to conquer them. This class will also start easing you into shirt making as you work with plackets, buttonholes and how to adjust their placement to avoid gaping. That said if you’re still not ready for buttons, there’s always snaps.
SKILL LEVEL: ADVANCED BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE
PREREQUISITE: Garment 201 or equivalent experience.
You should have previous machine sewing experience and have completed several garments. You should be comfortable taking your measurements and using those to read the back of the pattern to determine the necessary supply amounts. Please email erin@pacificfabrics.com if you are unsure if your skill level is appropriate.
