Finding a pair of jeans that fits you well is a common struggle and once you finally do, styles change, manufacturers tweak the fit and you have to start your search all over. Let’s put our sewing skills to the task and learn how to make our own! Hardware and topstitching are crucial to achieve that authentic jeans look and we will go over the steps in detail to ensure you are comfortable with the process and understand all the fiddly little details. Many of these steps shouldn’t be rushed and include tools that you may not normally keep in your sewing tool box such as a hammer.
Fit is always important, especially with pants, so we will start off the first day of class sewing a test version to try on and see if any adjustments are needed to be made to the pattern to fit you better. Once we’re satisfied with the fit, we will start working on our final versions confident that when completed our jeans will look amazing.
