Learn how to make a fun confetti pouch and (finally!) have a use for all those tiny scraps of fabric you can’t bring yourself to throw out. You will learn how to layer your fabrics and quilt the front. The pouch is fully lined and includes zipper tabs and panels that makes the zipper easy to install.
For this project no scrap is truly too small, and you may find yourself cutting them up even smaller to achieve the look you want. Almost any type of woven fabric will work as long as it isn’t too thick. The organza layer will tone down the colors so don’t worry about any being too bright. In class we will pool our scraps together for more variety.
If you would like to add some sparkle to your project, glitter and sequins will be available in class. (Don’t worry, the process will prevent the glitter from getting everywhere!)
SKILL LEVEL: ADVANCED BEGINNER
You should have previous machine sewing experience and have completed a few projects. Please email erin@pacificfabrics.com if you are unsure if your skill level is appropriate.
PREREQUISITE: Sewing 101 or equivalent experience.
